Surely Sotomayor will have other chances, other public occasions, in which to challenge conventional wisdom-- after she's confirmed?

If Sotomayor is sounding like a Latina version of Judge Alito in the hearings, should the UUA Prez speak out against her confirmation; as the his predessor did spoke out on Alito's?
