Steve

It's not the first time President Carter has said what people currently holding elective office don't or can't say, and it's not the last time somebody opposed to the current President will show that kind of disrespect. About "boy," Maureen Dowd (of all people) agrees:

though you are far clearer on the history here than her column is (or perhaps can be).

There is really no point writing a decenting view on a liberal blog, especially when comments are moderated to protect the liberal blog.
The truth is, you guys have to use the racist label because you cant win on facts. Carter was joke when in office and his liberal policies lead to the Reagan landslide in 1980. When the people sweep out lib's and statist in 2010, you can call that racist too.

Poetry in Motion

There is no racist label in this blog, neither are the views bias. No Republican, Conservative, Democrat, or Liberal can deny what is already made true. The fact is, many are subject to reject the fact the racism still exist. Kudos to the author for bringing light to all you run into dark corners denying the respect that each man/woman deserves behind their racial barriers. I t is evident that CHANGE has come and conservatives are still stuck in 1965. To them, I say wake up! "All men are created equal..." but I guess they didn't get the memo. Yet and still majority rules and I smile, because the people spoken. The people of all colors, all denominations, cultures and backgrounds gave a landslide victory to Obama. To the last commenter I say, today he is your president and I when you wake up he will be your president tomorrow. While you're waiting for yesterday to return, the majority of America will be loving today.
