Yes to local food policy councils composed of adults! No to mandated food education in schools, though: teachers already have enough mandatory subjects to cover in the sometimes strikingly limited hours they have. (Would you take away hours from kids' special interests in life sciences? in history? somewhere else?) Other than that, though, thanks for this strikingly informative piece.
