Salute to Food Rebels III: Maurice Small Brings Farms to Cleveland

November 23, 2010

WINNE_FoodRebelsIn Food Rebels, Guerrilla Gardeners, and Smart-Cookin’ Mamas: Fighting Back in an Age of Industrial Agriculture, Mark Winne introduces us to innovative "local doers" leading the charge to bring nutritious, sustainable, and affordable food to all, and we wanted to give a shout-out to organizations that we consider "Food Rebels" here on the blog.

Last week, we saluted Connecticut's Working Lands Alliance and the National Farm to School Network on Thursday, and the Sustainable Food Center, headquartered in Austin, Texas, and the W. K. Kellogg Foundation's Food and Community Program on Friday. Today, Mark Winne talks about a Food Rebel in Cleveland: Maurice Small of City Fresh.
