It has been a great few days for Beacon Press in the media. One major highlight was The New York Times’ very thoughtful review of Howard Axelrod’s The Point of Vanishing, in which Dwight Garner writes, “Mr. Axelrod is clearly a gifted writer. . . . The best thing about Mr. Axelrod’s frequently absorbing book is how idiosyncratic it feels; he is a unique presence on the page.”
Also getting some strong attention, Faith Ed. author Linda Wertheimer had new opinion articles at USA Today and The Washington Post, as well as interviews with Sojourners and The Los Angeles Times. The book was also included on Radio Boston’s holiday book gift list. And finally, if you're looking for something to watch, Wen Stephenson (author of What We’re Fighting for Now is Each Other) and Premilla Nadasen (author of Household Workers Unite) both have book talks now streaming from C-Span/BookTV.
