This week, Christopher Emdin’s For White Folks Who Teach in the Hood…and the Rest of Y’all Too made it into the top 10 on two New York Times Best Sellers lists, in the categories of Race & Civil Rights and Education. Having gone on sale March 22nd, the book is already in its 5th printing. With an activated and excited network of fans, the book has also been receiving wonderful attention from the media. The reviewer at Inside Higher Ed’s “Just Visiting” blog called it, “The Most Important Work of Pedagogy I've Read in Ten Years.” The author has been interviewed for PBS NewsHour online, HuffPo Education, Education Week, and has forthcoming broadcast interviews scheduled with Weekend All Things Considered and The Brian Lehrer Show.
